D-Day: How Winchester Helped Storm the Beaches of Normandy by Ellen Knight

75 Years ago today, The Allied forces landed over 150,000 troops on the coast of France called the Bay of Seine.  Ellen Knight, Winchester’s Town Archivist, has written this fascinating article describing Winchester’s involvement in this important battle of WW II.
